The Rotary Inter-Country Committee (ICC) Russia-Germany promotes relations between both countries to strengthen intercultural understanding and community among people. It supports closer connections between members, clubs, and districts, and builds cross-border networks.
We see ourselves as a platform for all German-speaking and Russian-speaking Rotarians who share an interest in civil society and each other’s cultures. Rotarians from Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria, and Luxembourg are cordially invited to actively participate.

• Expand regional knowledge: Deepen knowledge about the culture, society, and daily life in each respective country.
• Strengthen the ICC network: Actively collaborate with other Inter-Country Committees worldwide.
• Enhance cultural exchange: Foster cultural dialogue and mutual learning.
• Intensify youth exchange: Target and support programs for youth exchange.
• Facilitate professional exchange: Promote knowledge transfer and networking at the professional level.

Letter of Intent of December 2007, on which Governor Elect Vladimir Vasilkov, District 2220 and Governor Elect Uwe Kayser District 1810 agreed in St. Petersburg.

The first official partnership between a Russian and a German Club was agreed in March 2010 between RC Remscheid and RC Moscow Humboldt
- December, 2012
The second official partnership between a German and a Russian Club was agreed upon and signed in Berlin at the embassy of the Russian Federation between RC Kaliningrad and RC Berlin-Schloss Köpenick.
